What happens when you throw Siskel and Ebert (or is it Ebert and Roeper?), Howard Stern, Socrates and Arnold Schwarzenegger in a room together to discuss bodybuilding? Well, I'm not quite sure either... but I do know that Experiments vs. Experience Volume 1 is as good an answer as any.Dr. Lonnie Lowery and Rob "Fortress" Fortney have teamed up together to form the Internet Talk Show/Seminar Series to discuss the unimaginable questions we all dream of posting on the T-Forum but are afraid to, for fear of what or who might creep out. Is bodybuilding a sport? kicks off the CD like a bat out of hell followed up with Should I bulk up? and How should I prepare for the gym? This is a must have for kids of all ages. Fascinating, informative and brilliant arguments made from no one more qualified to answer. Dr. Lowery, a PhD in Exercise Physiology, prolific sports nutrition writer, soon to be Registered Dietitian as well as competitive bodybuilder and "Fortress," a competitive powerlifter both have the science and the athletic backgrounds to pontificate such questions. What I'm saying here is that they talk the talk and walk the walk. ...because science doesn't always agree with what athletes insist they know. And isn't that the truth?
