Janis' Morning Muesli

I recently spent some time with one of my closest friends in Germany and a staple of their diet in the morning is muesli: a mixture of oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit. This is a combination I became fond of while visiting her. Thanks J!


Ingredients:
1/2 - 1 cup low sugar muesli (I like the Familia no sugar added brand) 1 plain yogurt (or plain soy yogurt)
1/2 cup soy milk
ground flax seeds (ground up in a coffee grinder)
wheat germ to taste

additional:
- apricot walnut
- apple cinnamon walnut
- apple date walnut
- banana pecan
- strawberry banana


Instructions:
1. In bowl layer muesli, soy milk, yogurt then top with ground flax, wheat germ and fruit + nuts.
